First HIO for 010
While Doc is yet to beat me in a single game of 010 (yes, that's what it's called... "oh ten"), he did get the first Hole in One. I thought it was appropriate to post it here.
Congratulations Manzo. Now try winning a game. Skins doesn't count.
Boom!
Boom boom! Note that I knew exactly what I was doing. I took just a little off after seeing Geoff go in the water (and Dan go about 60 yards left of the green). Totally planned. I'm only pissed about changing my outfit the other night. Makes it look like it's from 2 years ago. I did it to bring back good luck, Guess it worked.
Also note (papahoho) that's a par 4. Double Eagle.
Golden Tee is Reeeealy secure
Speaking of encryption, I noticed this gem on Golden Tee's website today.

128 BYTES! As I'm sure you all know, one byte is equal to eight bits (they meant to write bit - obviously).
I really don't want to do the math from yesterdays post to figure out how long it would take to crack 128 byte encryption. Suffice it to say that the universe would be a cold dead blob by the time it happened.
GT2010
I've never been more exited in my life. The new GT 2010 preview video has been released. The awesomeness of the hairdos in the video goes without saying. Other less obvious changes to be excited about are:
- Skins play - for four player team play
- Quick Shot Lock - to speed up games with Vinnie
- New Clubs
And, of course, new courses... I'm particularly looking forward to The Great Wall in China, Tahiti Cove, and Bella Toscana.
Real Time Gloden Tee Stats
I know everyone has been dying for a way to see my current GT stats. Well now there's no need to look any further than the left sidebar of my blog.
At the time of this post, the key stats are as follows:
- Best Score: -17
- Average Score: -2.63
- Total Hole-in-Ones: 5
- Total Penalty Stroks: 691
- Total games started: 248
My goal is for them to read as follows by this time next year:
- Best Score: -21
- Average Score: -4.60
- Total Hole-in-Ones: 11
- Total Penalty Stroks: 2,987 (I'm an aggressive payer)
Golden Tee Tournament of Champions
Proudest moment of my life. I won the 2009 Waterfront 2009 Golden Tee Tournament of Champions.
17 Under. With a tough course selection (72 holes) selected at random by two questionable girls who were at the bar at noon on a Sunday (Cypress Cove, Sunnywood, Eagle Crest, & Woodland Farm) I came out on top.
The idea was that tournament would include everyone who plays down at the dub (waterfront: vinnie, geiff, et al) but in reality (due to kids and non-interest) it was just Manzo, Joel and me.
Bottom line: I still have that sweet trophy sitting behind the bar at the dub (courtesy of Lisa). How many people can say that?
Boom
This is how it's done.
